Edward's \General Signal 281B Rate of Rise and Fixed at 135 degrees. 282B Rate of Rise and Fixed at 145 degrees. 283B Fixed at 135 Degrees. 284B Fixed at 194 Degrees 281B 282B 283B 284B Description Heat Detectors are available with 135 or 194 Degree Fahrenheit ratings in fixed or fixed and rate-of-rise temperature operation with single circuit normally open contacts. The Heat Detector is available with either a metal or white plastic reversible mounting plate. Features White -blend with ceiling Low Profile -with wide base covering mounting plate and box. Positive Operation Indication -when fixed temperature element is activated, center falls free from detector. (Detector replacement is required) On Site Testing -rate of rise feature is automatically self-restoring permitting on site testing of this feature. Easy Installation -twist and it locks in place: same mounting plate for 3 1/2 or 4" octagon box or open mounting. Terminals clearly marked. Wide Spacing -50 foot centers on rate of Rise and Fixed temperature units.
